Description

The electron beam flue gas treatment technology allows for simultaneous SO2 and NOx removal in one stage. The method is based on the oxidation of NO to NO2 and SO2 to SO3 by an electron beam. These compounds react with water vapour and ammonia giving the mixture of ammonium sulphate and ammonium nitrate that is used as fertiliser (NPK).

Advantages

Simultaneous removal of SO2, NOx and volatile organic compounds from flue gases by an electron beam.
removal of SO2 - 95 %
removal of NOx - 70 %
