Description

Assessment of possible implementations of industrial wastes in road engineering. Solid wastes from mines and steel works like unburnt black shales, burnt red shales, slag blast furnaces, steel slags and zink slags will be used as valuable materials for the following road works:
• earth works
• frost resistance layers
• drainage layers
• road subbases

The entire specific geotechnical characteristics is being performed, including the analysis of physical and mechanical features of the above-mentioned wastes. On this basis we have developed specific technologies for building in waste elements to road construction materials.

Advantages

Reduction of strippings and scrap materials volume in dumping sites.
