Description

Catator has since more than two decades developed catalysts and catalytic systems based on own patented manufacture technology. Among those novel open wire mesh catalyst geometries.
The mesh material can be almost any solid ranging from plastics to high temperature steel alloys. The mesh can be cut to any shape and is very compact leading to significantly smaller and simpler reactors.
The catalytic species which have been applied to date include base and precious metals, oxides and zeolites used in syntheses, hydrogen generation and environmental clean-up systems.
In addition to much reduced catalyst volumes needed, other economic benefits include smaller plant foot-print, lighter equipment and ease of maintenance. The easy control of temperature profiles also allows for improved selectivity and hence overall catalyst productivit. Catator work as a contract R&D partner in many co-operation projects with customers within Energy and Environmental related products. Catators costumers are very wide both in terms of industries and company sizes. Everything from a small producers of compost toilets, wood stoves, etc. up against large corporations such as GM, BP, Alfa Laval, TetraPak, Gaz de France, FMV and others. Catator are working worldwide including Japan, USA and Europe. They have not so many public installations where it is usually their customers that sell to end customers.
