Description

Caustic soda and nitric acid solutions are used for the rinsing of vacuum condensers. These solutions are neutralized and seweraged after using.
The object of theimprovement is to reduce water pollution due to recovery of rinsing solutions. 
Rinsing solution after technological process is selected to the additional tank. Deposits after rinsing are sediments at the bottom of tank. After that, solution is transported to the technological process by means of circulation pump.

Environmental benefit:
The implementation of innovation allows to save using rinsing materials and to reduce waste water polution: consumption of caustic soda and nitric acid decrease by 70%.

Economic effect:
reduce in costs - 27 000 Lt/year;
Total implemenation costs are 39 400 Lt;
Pay-back period - 1,5 years.
