Description

The innovation has been generated and implemented  at the textile products manufacturing  company performming all operations from preparation of thread to the fabric finishing processes: Threads are sized, fabrics are woven during the process of manufacturing. Operations of preparation for the dyeing and printing, dyeing and printing with washing and strengthening, giving shape and exterior to fabrics are carried out.
The process of fabric finishing consumes biggest amount of energy, water, steam and chemicals, hence, comparing to other departments, environment is affected most of all. In fact, it is impossible to avoid waste water from the dyeing department. 
There was generated the innovation for separation of waste water discharges: relatively clean water must be reused in technological process, polluted water must be transported through the heat exchanger to utilize its heat.
There are two systems, which increase the possibility to separate waste water:
The first system: Relatively clean waste water after washing operations is transported to the tanks and reused in technological process by means of pump.
The second system: Polluted waste water after dyeing operations is collected in waste water tank. Submerged pump (P) transports waste water through the two heat exchangers WT1, WT2 for the soft water heating.

Innovative aspects (ecologic, social and economic)

Environmental benefit:
Separate discharges in dyeing department allow to save approx. 90 000 m3/year of soft water.
Heat recovery from waste water after dyeing operations allows minimizing steam consumption by 3 400 Gcal/year.
Economic effect:
The savings of innovation implementationis  600 000 Lt/year.
Total costs are 600 000 Lt.
Project repays after 1 year.
