Description

Anaerobic treatment technology is applied for the most contaminated wastes such as spirit and yeast refuses. This kind of treatment not only allows to reduce the waste contamination , but supplies the company with biogas – a valuable energy resource as well.
The biogas is produced in six bioreactors, installed in the company. Approximately 10-12 tons of pollutants are processed and 5500-6000 nm3 of biogas is produced there. Heat power of biogas is 5200 kcal/m3.
Quantity of biogas increased after installation of new anaerobic reactors with volume of 400 m3 and 600 m3. Technical rearrangement of the boiler burner and biogas supply system is necessary in order to use effectively all the produced biogas.

Environmental benefit:
1. Reduction of emissions to the atmosphere - by 3,38 t/year:
• H2S by 90;
• CO by 29;
• NOx by 5,6;
2.  Reduced amount ofnatural gas consumption- by 1 193 599 nm3;
3. Reduction in environmental taxes.

Economic effect:
Total investments - 800 000 Lt;
Yearly savings - 347 826 Lt;
Pay-back period - 2,3 years.
