There are many types of nanotechnology, the field is cross-disciplinary. The term nanotechnology is used with different meanings in physics, chemistry, biology, medicine and materials science, but they all have in common that nanotechnology is understanding, designing, producing and controlling materials and objects at the nanoscale.
 
When working with nanotechnology, it is important to understand that there is a significant difference between the macro and nano scales. This applies when you work with physical, optical, mechanical or chemical properties on the nanoscale. For example, aluminium becomes explosive in nanosize, and the colour of gold particles can change from gold to green, orange, purple or red, depending on the size of the particles.

TCnano technology gives you a glimpse of the future, and only your imagination restricts where and when you can use our products. Therefore, we have the following vision:

At TCnano Technologies we believe that nanotechnology will change the world. However, when working with new technology it is very important to remember the safety. Therefore we have our intention at the environment when we develop new solutions as well as we continually test our existing product line.
 
TCnano Technologies is one of the promoters to Forumnano, where nanotechnology and toxicology are discussed across the branch. Furthermore we work closely with Nanogatein Germany, who is the leading authority in Europe within Nanotechnology.
 
Through dialogue with the most important parties we are able to be at the cutting edge of the development in the branch as well as having influence at the current debate with focus at the environment and safety.

TCnano Technologies is a member of Forumnano, which was established in March 2007 in Berlin. Forumnano represents all small and medium-sized companies in Europe that have obligated to use nanotechnology in a sustainable and responsible way.
 
In order to achieve the Forumnano brand, TCnano Technologies' products have gone through a number of tests that prove that the products contain nanotechnology and that we comply with ”the Responsible NanoCode” during the development, production and distribution processes of our products. Finally, it has been proven that the nanomaterials in the products are the direct cause for new functional properties or other nanotechnological processes.


 

Application examples

At TCnano Technologies, we never lean back and content ourselves with our products. We fine-adjust them all the time in order to get the optimal result from the TCnano technology. We can change the properties of a surface, add new properties and thereby create new functionalities. The result is a product with much larger advantages and a significantly higher financial gain for our partners.
 
On the market
TCnano Technologies is at the forefront of development and has been so for the last 5 years. Simultaneously with our market-related activities, we work on a number of industrial development projects. Together with our business partners, we work actively on using the latest knowledge about surface treatment. In this way, we keep abreast of demand, and we will continue developing nanotechnological surface treatment and new products.
