SPIN & ActClean Workshop: “Biogas markets and potentials in Central and Northern Europe”, Leipzig, Germany

06.10.2011 — 06.10.2011
SPIN (Sustainable Production Through Innovation in SMEs) and Act Clean (Access to Technology and Know-how on Cleaner Production) are EU projects focusing on the transnational application of eco-innovations in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The projects are carried out with partners in Central and Northern Europe, with the German Federal Environment Agency as Lead Partner.

The experts and institutions involved in the projects maintain a close exchange of experience in the field of Cleaner Production. One focal point is biogas production and use in the project regions.

As part of the two projects, a workshop on Biogas Markets and Potentials in Central and Northern Europe will be held on 6 October 2011 in Leipzig.

The aims of the workshop are to describe the situation of biogas markets in Central and Northern European EU Member States and to highlight and discuss the opportunities which German companies have in that region. Experts from Central and Northern European countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Sweden and Austria, among others) will inform workshop participants about current conditions for biogas projects and the demand for German plant technology and know-how in their respective countries.

We cordially invite you to take part in the workshop, which will take place on 6 October 2011 at the Victor’s Residenz-Hotel in Leipzig.

You will also have the opportunity to present your company as part of a poster exhibition. Pin-boards will be made available on request free of charge. Please confer with us in advance if you wish to use your own display equipment.
You can find the registration form as well as further information on the programme in the attachments.
